The Woman to Woman tour, which consists of the female singer-songwriters Judie Tzuke, Julia Fordham, Beverley Craven and Rumer, is due to arrive in Northampton towards the end of November.
The tour unites some of the UK's best female musical artists in a rare collaboration. It represents an opportunity to see them perform their hits as well as classic album tracks, supported by their own five-piece band.
Judie Tzukie, at 15 years of age, was writing songs and playing in folk clubs across the country. In 1977, she signed to Elton John's Rocket Records, leading to the release of her debut album ‘Welcome to The Cruise’. Beverley Craven is most recognised for the 1991 hit record ‘Promise Me’. She has sold 4 million albums and still maintains a fiercely loyal fanbase.
Julia Fordham's husky and powerful vocals attracted the public's attention in the 1980s, whilst Brit Award nominee Rumer, aka Sarah Joyce, has often been compared to the late Karen Carpenter.
It is another chance to hear songs such as ‘Happy Ever After’, ‘Mysterious Ways’ and ‘Stay With Me Till Dawn’. Tickets cost £43.58 inclusive of a booking fee. Banner printing is often seen as an effective method of promoting a forthcoming concert or musical event.
The Woman to Woman performance has a starting time of 7:30pm on Saturday, November 19 at The Derngate Theatre, Northampton.
