Northampton will once again hold its successful running event later this year that celebrates its community and history.
The Amazing Northampton Run is making a welcome return to town for autumn 2025. The September footrace is encouraging residents to participate whether they want to run or simply spectate and support athletes and the event that first launched in 2023.
Businesses that are interested in offering support to the event are also urged by organisers to get in touch to discuss opportunities. Promoters of local sports events often celebrate the companies that sponsor them by adding their Logo Design to marketing materials and signage on the day.
More than a half marathon, the running event has been specially designed to pay tribute to the town’s iconic landmarks and sense of community. Designed for runners of all aptitudes and fitness levels from total novices to trained athletes, the Amazing Northampton Run is an inclusive event.
The run begins in Market Square in Northampton’s historic centre before its course follows the scenic River Nene and passes picturesque Abington Park. There are various entry options that include a 3-mile fun run, a half marathon relay and the main event, the half marathon. An abundance of places for runners and spectators to find refreshment will be open on the day.
The Amazing Northampton Run will be held on Sunday, September 14 and starts at 9:30am.
