A sports centre in Northampton is set to host an event designed for fans of comics, film, TV and toys this winter.
Northampton Comic Con is headed for the Benham Sports Centre in February. Organisers of the single-day family-friendly event are inviting people in town with a passion for everything from cult TV and classic films to games and comic Books to attend.
Comic book companies use professional full-colour printing services to produce a wide range of publications from monthly titles to multi-page graphic novels.
Those attending the convention can immerse themselves in comic culture and are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite character, whether it’s a superhero or science fiction star.
The event will have a diverse array of activities and experiences to get involved in, from retro gaming sessions featuring both card and board games to face painting. Cars from famous films will be onsite for photo opportunities, and a broad selection of exhibitors and vendors will be selling toys and collectables from popular titles like Stranger Things and Star Wars.
Northampton Comic Con will be at the Benham Sports Centre on Sunday, February 23. The centre is sited in Regal Close at Moulton Park Industrial Estate in Northampton, and the event will start at 10 am and end at 4 pm. Admission to the convention is priced at £28.88 per person.
