Ukrainian music night to take place in Epsom

Epsom is set to play host to a special evening of performances by musicians from Ukraine later this month, as a way of raising money for charities that are helping people in the war-torn country.

The music that will make up this event will be a mixture of performances by professional musicians who originally hail from Ukraine and refugees who have recently arrived in Epsom and the wider local area. Among those who are scheduled to perform on the night are professional and amateur pianists and violinists, and the melodies will range from classical to traditional Ukrainian music.

Epsom Methodist Church will be serving as the venue for the event, which has been publicised on the Ukrainian London Twitter page. Poster printing that is supplied by shops in the local area is another way that forthcoming special events such as this one can be promoted to people who live in the town.

The town has been at the forefront of the support for people in Ukraine since the start of the war and has received the thanks of them in return for it. This event is just the latest example of that, with all of the money from the event going to appropriate charities,

Musicians confirmed to appear include pianist Maria Zhornikova, opera singer Kateryna Bolkunevych and violinist Yevheniia Semydilko. It will take place on 24th September.
