Fans of snooker who live in Epsom will have the opportunity to see some of the stars of the sport next month, when a top seniors' tournament returns to the town.
The Mr Vegas World Seniors Snooker 900 has become a popular addition to the calendar in recent years. The 2024 event will mark the fourth time that it has been held, and some seriously big names have been lined up to take part in it. Ken Doherty and Jimmy White are just two of the snooker legends who will be entering the tournament.
This ability to attract the very best older players on the circuit is nothing new for the organisers of the tournament. The winner of the inaugural event was Stephen Hendry, the seven-time snooker world champion.
Epsom Racecourse is once again scheduled to serve as the venue for the event. Alongside the snooker action, there will be a special VIP Legends Lunch that people can attend. This will provide them with a chance to meet John Virgo and Dennis Taylor, as well as experience a two-course dinner.
Poster printing from shops in Epsom is just one of the ways in which events like this can be promoted ahead of time. There is sure to be a lot of public interest, as snooker is a popular sport.
This tournament will be held on 30 December.
