New theatre in Epsom launches summer season

A brand new theatre located in picturesque Epsom countryside has launched its first ever summer season of plays, providing local people with the perfect way to spend a warm evening.

Called The Lavender Theatre, this is an open air venue that is set within beautiful purple fields of lavender. The precise location is Reigate Road, Epsom, but anyone attending a show will feel that they are right in the heart of the country. The plan is to showcase a mix of musicals and plays each season; this first one is getting underway with a run of ‘Annie Get Your Gun.’

The theatre is the newest addition to the Mayfield Lavender area of Epsom, joining a shop and coffee bar, with a glass-house eatery scheduled to open there later in the summer. Promotional products from Epsom outlets can help to advertise new venues like this theatre and encourage people to visit them.

Speaking to the Epsom and Ewell Times, the co-founder Joe McNeice said:
“Audiences will be able to grab a picnic to enjoy among the blossoming rows of lavender as the sun begins to set, before taking their seats in our covered auditorium to watch a show under the stars.”

‘Annie Get Your Gun’ kicked off the first summer season on 17th July, and more exciting shows are being promised throughout the remainder of it.
