New bakery to open at Epsom site

An artisan bakery chain is set to open a new branch at a site in Epsom this year, with customers who live in the town being able to benefit from its full selection of goods.

Gail’s has become a very popular brand thanks to its range of fresh baked bread, cakes and pastries with ingredients that are sourced from the finest suppliers and prepared within the store. They are accompanied by the firm’s special coffee blend that is hand roasted and boasts a distinct flavour of its own.

Now the company is setting up shop in Epsom and the chosen site is a unit within the Ashley Centre, which is in East Square. The space measures 5,958 sq ft, so the finished bakery will be a sizeable outlet.

Giveaway promotional products from Epsom outlets can provide cost-effective advertising for new shops like this when they open.

The Ashley Centre is owned by CBRE IM and its retail asset management head Louisa Butters told Food Service Equipment Journal that the centre had a plan to attract brands that would enhance its reputation.

She then added:
“This signing marks the destination as a premium location for quality offerings, providing customers with quality baked goods and pastries in a characterful and inviting space, and we look forward to Gail’s joining our F&B offer.”

It will open during the summer.
