Epsom and Ewell Borough Council has now started to work on its masterplan for the heart of Epsom, and it will be seeking out the opinions of local people over it.
The local authority is looking to put together a plan to deal with the housing situation in Epsom over the next 20 years, and it is set to engage in a consultation with those living in the area this summer over the various town centre sites that could be developed to create new homes.
Stationery printers in Epsom can help when it comes to public consultations of this sort by providing the official Forms needed to record the opinions of those taking part.
In addition to which of the sites should be deployed and how best to utilise them, this plan will also explore the infrastructure needs of the new communities that will be created, along with possible changes to the centre of town that can make it more environmentally friendly.
Financing for the masterplan has been found from three sources, including the Department for Levelling Up created by the government, which has provided £125,000. The Local Enterprise Partnership has contributed a further £225,000 to the scheme.
This consultation process will run throughout the summer and its findings will go into the final plan that is put into practice by the council.
