KFC eager to open Epsom restaurant

KFC has announced that it is keen to launch hundreds of new restaurants at locations throughout the country, with one of the preferred spots on its list being Epsom.

The giant fast food chain has published a list detailing the prime locations that it hopes to create branches of its restaurants in and Epsom is one of 16 in the Surrey region. In total, there are 500 places in the UK on the list, but KFC has also said that its Plans would involve closing some existing restaurants and relocating them to new areas.

According to its list, the 16 proposed Surrey KFC restaurants would be a mixture of Urban Small Box and Drive Thru outlets, with the Epsom branch being a Drive Thru.

When chains like this open new branches, they often use giveaway promotional products supplied by shops in Epsom to help attract the attention and interest of people living in the area.

KFC has also released an official statement in which it called on property developers across the UK to get in touch with it should they have any undeveloped land that could potentially be turned into a new branch of the chain. The statement indicated that the fast food company would be prepared to pay £20,000 for what it described as ‘recognised introductions’.

Other proposed Surrey sites include Esher and Cobham.
