Epsom pub to host three top comedians

A pub in Epsom is set to play host to gigs by no less than three of the country’s most popular comedians over the course of the next few weeks.

Harry Hill, Romesh Ranganathan and Josh Widdicombe will all be taking to the stage of The Station, a pub situated within the Stoneleigh district of Epsom. These are three separate performances, with all of the comedians currently in the process of preparing for tours of the country and looking to play intimate shows to ready themselves

Harry Hill became a national name as the host of the ITV comedy show TV Burp, while Widdicombe has appeared on shows like The Last Leg and QI. His upcoming tour will be made up exclusively of shows at large venues. Brochure printing is often used to help showcase live stand-up comedy shows.

Speaking to Surrey Live, The Station manager, Steve Murphy, said:

“All booking is done through Outside the Box (a comedy club that hosts the events) and we provide the venue. It’s trying out material for a new audience ahead of the arena shows.”

The gigs present the perfect opportunity for local fans to see their favourites in a smaller setting. Widdicombe will be in Epsom on 26th August, with Romesh Ranganathan set to follow him three days later. Harry Hill will play the pub on 9th September.
