Francesca Fullilove stars in the hit show Call the Midwife. Despite being just 11 years of age, she has featured in it for the last four series. Now, her performance has earned her recognition, with the news that she is in the running for a TV Times Award.
The youngster landed a part in the series after her mother, Teresa Fullilove, sent its casting directors a Tape of her acting. They were so impressed by what they saw that they contacted her agent to offer her the role of Colette Corrigan. She joined the cast in 2021 and has remained with the show ever since.
The prize that she is up for at the annual TV Times Awards is ‘Favourite Young Actor’. Teresa Fullilove told a local source that her daughter had been amazed at the news:
“She said there are so many other people who are so much better, but we told her it’s lovely that you’ve been recognised – she was really thrilled and surprised.”
When local people are nominated for awards, other residents sometimes choose to show their support. Banner printing from Epsom shops is just one way of doing that.
The closing date for voting is 8th October.Get a Free Quote for Tape
