Ecclesiastical made the decision to donate the money to the Epsom scout troupe to help towards its Plans for the Scout Hall. This particular troupe was originally launched all the way back in 1922, at which time it was the only Scout group in the region, and from the beginning, all of those who help to run it have been volunteers.
In recent years, the number of youngsters who have signed up to the troupe has increased to 120 across the different age groups, meaning that a larger hut is urgently needed. Community groups like this often use printing services to provide them with Posters and Flyers advertising their activities.
Richard Ascough, the leader of the troupe, told Surrey Live:
“Because we all meet on the same night, we have to share premises. A 20-capacity hall was fine for the Cubs when it was accommodating 20 people, but now numbers for it have gone up to 36, it’s more difficult.”
He went on to add that he was seeking sponsorship from businesses based in the area, with the hope being that the target sum of £120,000 can be in place within three years.Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Posters Get a Free Quote for Plans
