The Sunnybank Trust is providing this service, enabling people to get Christmas presents wrapped in the decorations and paper of their choice. All they have to do in return is donate a sum that they can afford that will be used by the charity to help finance its work. The trust has set itself up within Epsom’s Ashley Centre in the period running up to Christmas.
Speaking to the Surrey Comet, trust member Dorothy Watson said they were happy to be able to offer this service to people in the town again. Charities often use flyer printing to advertise what their services and fundraisers. Watson went on to add:
“With the support of the Ashley Centre and Barclays Bank we are hoping to raise much needed funds in order to support those with learning disabilities who are so vulnerable in our community.”
She concluded by saying that donations from local people of free time to help wrap the gifts, or paper that can be used, would be very welcome.
The Sunnybank Trust is set to be in the centre until Christmas Eve and any donations of ribbons, paper or bows should be handed into Quest, which is also based within the Ashley Centre.
