This show is being organised by Epsom Music Charity and will feature a live performance by the Salieri Quartet. This is one of the most experienced and renowned quartets within the classical music world and has members who have been part of West End stage shows and top European orchestras. They will be performing music by Mozart and Bach on the day, as well as pieces like the popular Pachelbel Canon.
The venue for the concert will be the Epsom Playhouse and the borough’s Mayor Elect – Councillor Clive Woodbridge – will be among those attending. Flyer printing by shops in Epsom is one way that local events of this sort can be promoted.
Following the main show, the Salieri Quartet will move to Market Square for an al fresco performance of pop tunes, ranging from the Game of Thrones music to Beyonce hits.
Speaking to In Your Area, the NHS Trust chief nurse Simon Littlefield said:
“We are very grateful for the effort that has been put into this and would encourage people to come along and support this special day-time musical interlude.”
It will take place on May 27.
