Awards win for Epsom charity

A charity in Epsom that helps people who live with disabilities to learn to ride as a way of achieving better health and happiness won a major prize at a recent awards ceremony.

Epsom Riding for the Disabled (RDA) came first in the small charity category at the annual awards organised by SEIB Insurance Brokers, held on September 8th. This was the fourth year in a row that this ceremony took place and the venue for it was the Dallas Burston Polo Club. The prize awarded to RDA on the night was a cheque worth £8,000 that it can use to help fund its services.

Small charities like this often find Logo Design services based in the same town useful when they are developing their brands before launching.

Ray Lee from Epsom RDA was at the awards night to pick up the cheque on behalf of the charity, and it was presented to him by Bipin Thaker and Suzy Middleton from SEIB.

According to In Your Area, Lee said of the award:

“It allows us to take forward projects that otherwise could not happen and as we are run entirely by volunteers, this will make a direct contribution to the quality of the service we provide to our riders.”

He also stated that the organisation was delighted to receive the money after a challenging 18-month period.
