Hedge End will play host to a summer school event for young people interested in the performing arts.
Entitled ‘Beyond the Stage’, the seven-day experience is a unique opportunity for ambitious individuals aged between 11 and 16 to learn and develop the necessary theatre skills required to work either on stage or behind the scenes.
This one-of-a-kind stage experience will be held at the Berry Theatre on Wildern Lane in Hedge End, Southampton. For one week, Beyond the Stage will have exclusive access to the venue, conducting a multitude of workshops run by theatre professionals.
The performance skills covered will range from acting and puppetry to audition technique and stage combat. Back-stage knowledge will also be taught on topics such as costume making, set design, directing, script writing, lighting and sound design.
Organisers of educational events can sometimes use brochure printing services to create colourful Booklets advertising learning opportunities on offer.
Equally ideal for young people seeking a career in the arts industry and those looking for hands on experience of backstage work, Beyond the Stage summer school will conclude with a showcase performance to family and friends.
Placements are available for the price of £130, with a discounted fee of £70 for an additional sibling.
The week-long summer event will take place from Monday 5th to Friday 9th August.Get a Free Quote for Brochures Get a Free Quote for Booklets
