Trains twinkling with festive lights are set to feature at a country park in Eastleigh as part of its Christmas Plans.

Families in Eastleigh seeking festive cheer will be well-served this season. The area’s popular Lakeside Country Park has announced that visitors to one of its much-loved attractions will get a chance to appreciate miniature trains aglow with fairy lights especially for the Christmas season.

On selected dates residents and guests of Eastleigh can visit a festive train station decorated with twinkling lights. While Yuletide songs provide a seasonal soundtrack, ticketholders can ride small-scale trains lit with dazzling lights while enjoying views of the park after sunset.

Those embarking this winter are encouraged to wrap up warm for the enchanting journey and advised that children under two are allowed to ride the illuminated trains for free if they can share an adult’s seat or sit on a parent’s knee.
