Southampton theatre to offer audiences a magical experience
A local theatre based in Southampton’s Hedge End is planning a performance that will transport audience members to a magical world of fairies, pirates and pixie dust.
The Berry Theatre in hedge End Southampton has announced an upcoming performance inspired by the classic tale of JM Barrie, entitled “Peter Pan!”
Theatre and picture houses putting on plays and pantomimes can count on professional local print shops to produce plush promotional materials displaying show details and strong imagery to draw in members of the community.
In a display of song, dance and drama, the timeless tale of good versus evil and a boy who never wants to grow up is designed to warm Southampton hearts this winter.
Those attending the show will have a chance to see all their favourite characters in action on stage. Peter Pan will battle the nefarious Captain Hook, whose hand was fed to a crocodile with the help of his feisty but faithful fairy Tinker Bell. Meanwhile Neverland newcomers, Wendy and her brothers Michael and John, will meet lost boys, mermaids and Native American tribes.
The performance will take place at The Berry Theatre on Wildern Lane in Hedge End, Southampton on Saturday, November 6 with two separate performances. An afternoon show will take place at 2:00 pm and the play will return in the evening at 7:00 pm.
