Hedge End music fans to enjoy US rock

Though the performance has had to be rescheduled, Southampton will still be able to give a warm welcome to a popular American band renowned for their melodic rock before the end of the year.

Music lovers from Hedge End and Botley Green will be able to see the Counting Crows in concert this spring as they stop by Southampton on their new Butter Miracle tour. Tour promoters often employ specialist flyer printing services to produce eye-catching advertisements that encourage members of the public to attend shows.

Originally from California’s Berkely, the Counting Crows formed in 1991. The band is made up of Jim Bogios on drums, Adam Duritz on vocals, Millard Powers on bass, Charlie Gillingham on keyboards and three guitarists - David Bryson, Dan Vickrey, and David Immerglück.

Their first release, “August and Everything After,” sold 7 million Copies in the US, with the band winning two Grammys. The group’s name was inspired by the British superstition of counting magpies. Known for their country and folk-style rock, Counting Crows continue to impress audiences and critics with their live performances, and released a new EP, “Butter Miracle, Suite One”, last year.

Those attending the Southampton show will be able to hear Counting Crows classics like “Round Here”, “Mr, Jones” and “Accidentally in Love”.

The Counting Crows will now play the O2 Guildhall on West Marlands Road in Southampton on Sunday, October 16, having previously been scheduled for April. The show starts at 7:00 pm and ends at 11:00 pm.
