Firework fiesta heading for Hedge End

A funfair complete with its own fireworks display is set to arrive in Hedge End, Southampton in November.

Dubbed ‘The Fantastic Fireworks Fiesta and Fun Fair’, the event will see a host of attractions culminating in a flurry of firecrackers and rising rockets above Southampton.

The fair and fiesta will be held in Greta Park on Upper Northam Road, Hedge End with all invited to join the festivities. The event has proved incredibly popular in the past with ticket purchases showing around 3,000 people in attendance in previous years.

The event is promoted and organised by the Hedge End Carnival Committee along with family funfair experts C Burnett and Sons. Promoters of local events can benefit from poster printing services to make attractive advertisements to encourage the general public to take part.

A portion of the proceeds gained in ticket admissions will be put towards charitable causes in and around Hedge End with a mind to supporting the local area as well as supplying an entertaining fireworks night.

No advance ticket purchases are available, those attending can simply buy them on the night with admissions for adults at £4 and children’s tickets priced at £2.

The Fantastic Fireworks Fiesta and Fun Fair will take place on Saturday November 9th with the gates opening at 6pm. The fireworks display will begin at 7:30pm.
