The architects designing the scheme, Whittam Cox, have begun the process of producing drawings showing how this project – called Northern Gateway – will be developed over a period of two decades. This firm is based within Chesterfield.
The completed document with visual images of the development is due to be made available for viewing by the general public at some point during July. Once it has been completed, local businesses and residents will have an opportunity to voice their opinions on the proposals.
Whittam Cox design director, Andrew Dabbs, told a reporter from the Derbyshire Times that the company was pleased that Chesterfield Borough Council had selected them for the project, going on to add that:
“This is a long term vision which offers a means to promote and market the future development potential of the area so that long term regeneration benefits can be realised by Chesterfield.”
Dabbs also attended a meeting with local business leaders at which he presented the Plans.
If the project gets the green light, places that offer bespoke Business Cards may be used by companies that opt to move into the regenerated areas of the town.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards Get a Free Quote for Plans
