The Love Chesterfield Awards have become an annual fixture on the local business calendar and are put together by community group Destination Chesterfield. One of the categories in these awards is called Entrepreneur of the Year and the three companies that are in contention to win it in 2022 are MD Hair, RD Models and Great2.
MD Hair is a hair salon run by Michelle Dalman and is situated within The Glass Yard, while RD Models is located in Sheffield Road and provides remote controlled vehicles. Finally, Great2 offers support services for companies and spaces for co-working, and its CEO is Andy Ball. Speaking to Chesterfield News, Ball said:
“Chesterfield is a wonderful location with such a strong industrial heritage, and it’s fantastic to play even a small part in supporting the growth of new start-ups, solo entrepreneurs and small businesses as they establish themselves in the economy.”
Corporate Gifts from local shops for use in retaining and attracting clients are among the other useful products available for companies based within the town.
The Love Chesterfield Awards for 2022 are scheduled to take place on October 12, with a black-tie event to be held in the Winding Wheel Theatre.
