Major UK retirement homes developer, McCarthy and Stone, is the company behind these Plans, although it has not yet submitted an application for planning permission to the local authorities. The firm intends to carry out a process of consultation with local residents so that it can gauge their reactions to the proposed housing.
The building that the company hopes to use is located in the Saltergate district and used to be home to North East Derbyshire District Council. McCarthy and Stone’s regional managing director, Ian Wilkins, told a reporter from the Derbyshire Times:
“We are bringing forward Plans to develop a key site in the heart of Chesterfield which will provide much-needed accommodation for elderly residents. It is in a prime location just minutes’ walk from the local high street.”
He went on to add that the company had decided that getting stakeholders and local people to provide their thoughts and opinions was the best way of ensuring that the finished Plans were ones that everyone within the community were happy with.
Should these Plans get the go-ahead, places in the town that Print Brochures may find themselves called upon to help show off the completed homes.Get a Free Quote for Print Get a Free Quote for Brochures Get a Free Quote for Plans
