Gascoigne was a star for Newcastle United, Rangers, Tottenham Hotspur and Lazio during his career, as well as playing in many memorable games for his country. He will be visiting Chesterfield for an event called ‘An Evening with Paul Gascoigne’ and the venue for this night will be the Proact Stadium, home of Chesterfield FC.
Fans of the club may recall that Gascoigne has visited the town before, when he played for Middlesbrough against Chesterfield in the League Cup, back in the 1999/2000 season.
When he comes back next year, he will be auctioning off collectables, as well as taking part in a question and answer session. Local brochure printing services are often used to provide souvenir programmes for events like this.
The organisers behind the event are Platinum World Promotions and a spokesman for them told a reporter from the Derbyshire Times:
“At this unforgettable evening, Gazza will talk about his career and life on and off the pitch in conversation with ex-professional rugby player turned TV commentator John Lebbon.”
An Evening with Paul Gascoigne will take place in Chesterfield on 18th June 2020 and tickets for the event are available now.
