The Holmebrook Tavern reopened its doors to punters with the new name of Holme Hall Inn. Now owned by Punch Taverns and managed by Embankment Inns, Holme Hall Inn showcased its new interior as part of a grand opening ceremony earlier this month.
The Director of Embankment Inns, Russ Hayler, spoke to the Chesterfield Post about the pub's reopening, saying:
“Previously, the pub looked tired and dated and the cash injection has given it the stylish appearance it needed. The pub looks fantastic and I can't believe the transformation. The investment has bought the pub back to its former glory as well as introducing some new Menus and facilities.”
The Partnerships Development Manager from Punch Taverns, Matthew Gaunt, also commented on this, saying:
“It's great that Punch can invest in their pubs and with this investment, we essentially want to position the Holme Hall Inn as one of the leading pubs in the area."
Gaunt went on to explain that the aim was to offer a great value drinking and dining experience for Chesterfield’s residents
As well as offering locals a new place to meet, the reopening of the pub has created 15 new jobs, giving the local economy a boost. A boom in trade following a pub refurbishment can also have a knock-on effect on other local businesses that may be called upon to provide services such as menu, poster or flyer printing.
Chesterfield's Holme Hall Inn can be found on Linacre Road.
