Chesterfield is set be showcased at a prestigious event for the property industry later this month, which will bring the town to the attention of investors from around the world.
MIPIM is an annual event that lasts for four days and is considered to be the premier networking platform for leading lights from the international property sector. It was originally launched during the late 1980s and is held in the French city of Cannes, with this year’s event set to feature a presentation by Team Derby and Derbyshire focusing on the potential for investment in Chesterfield.
The area is already viewed as one that is appealing for investors, thanks to development projects costing a total of £1 billion that are being carried out and the HS2 station project that is being planned for the future.
Strong transport networks and a setting that is central within the borough have also made Chesterfield a target for residential, industrial, commercial and leisure investors – which will be highlighted at the conference. Business card printing can be helpful to attendees in the build-up to networking events like.
Destination Chesterfield’s Chair Peter Swallow told Business Up North:
“Chesterfield has strong investment potential and Team Derby and Derbyshire and Sheffield City Region take a very compelling pitch to MIPIM 2019 on our behalf.”
The event takes place between March 12th and 15th.
