A sizeable new industrial complex is being planned for a site in Chesterfield, with the hope that it will become a base for both existing and emergent companies in the area.
This complex is set to be known as Nova. It will be built alongside the Markham Vale Scheme at Junction 29a. The idea is that the two projects will form one interconnected centre for business use, with both being the result of a link-up between Devonshire Estates and HBD. The total size of the finished Nova development will be 730,000 sq ft.
Businesses that base themselves within complexes like this one also sometimes make use of outlets that offer Corporate Gifts, to help them woo and retain their clients.
The plan is for the buildings that make up Nova to be environmentally friendly and sustainable. That will include providing charging points for electric vehicles, PV panels and meeting BREEAM Excellent standards. As part of this, roughly 5,700 trees will be planted at the site and it will seek to improve biodiversity by 10%.
When it has been completed Nova will consist of two units. The first of these will involve a warehouse that is 230,122 sq ft in size. It will also include smaller blocks for offices.
The second unit will be a warehouse of 466,766 sq ft, plus parking spaces, dock levellers and access doors.Get a Free Quote for Corporate Gifts
