The organisers of a popular family event have confirmed that it will be returning to Chesterfield this summer, which will delight those who live in the town.
Since its launch three years ago, the Chesterfield Children’s Festival has become a beloved addition to the summer calendar. More than 12,000 families from the town and the wider area descend on the chosen site each year to take part in the fun. The financing for the event comes from Arts Council England, while it is put together by the local organisation Junction Arts.
As in previous years, there will be games, workshops, live performances and a variety of interactive activities. However, there are also set to be some brand new attractions for 2025.
One of them will be ‘Story Chefs’, which is being described as an immersive theatre performance. It is the brainchild of Maison Foo, a theatrical troupe that is based in Derby.
When the organisers of upcoming local events are looking for ways to advertise them, promotional Pens created by shops in Chesterfield are one potential option. They can have the name of the event printed on them.
Some of the other activities that will be on offer at this festival include face painting and the Everybody Dance mass dance-a-long. There will also be live music overseen by the Noise Academy.
It takes place on 26th and 27th July.Get a Free Quote for Pens
