Two brand new pubs have launched in the town centre at Chesterfield, helped by an investment in the region of £300,000.
The first of these is called The Burlington and is located on the site formerly occupied by Yates. It opened its doors to the public on Friday, May 29, with a big celebratory launch party.
As well as providing another option for those looking to get out and enjoy themselves in the town, the pub will also create employment opportunities for three people alongside the current employees who have been retained.
The Burlington is situated adjacent to the famed Crooked Spire in Chesterfield, and a company spokesman told the local press that it represented:
“…a traditional town centre pub offering its customers a warm welcome, great value food, cask and craft ales, fantastic sports viewing facilities and music-led entertainment at weekends.”
However, this is not the only new pub to launch in the town recently, as Apartment – which draws its inspiration from the bars to be found in New York – opened the following day.
Both pubs will be able to turn to firms offering flyer printing in Chesterfield if they need any help promoting themselves to residents of the town.
An Apartment spokesman stated that the venue would offer a modern venue, featuring beers, spirits and cocktails, and combining local elements with a cutting edge urban feel.
