Chesterfield to welcome street food market again this year

This is set to be another great year for ‘foodies’ in Chesterfield, with the confirmation that a street food market that first hit the city last summer will be returning throughout 2024.

Peddler Market proved to be a big success with residents of Chesterfield when it set up camp in the centre of town. This event was held twice last year, during June and then again in the autumn, but the organisers have now revealed that there will be four of the markets this year. It is put together by Peddler Events in collaboration with Chesterfield Borough Council.

The director of Peddler Events, Ben Smith, told Chesterfield News that:
“It’s always been our view that Chesterfield town centre is an amazing setting for events like ours, with a backdrop that most towns and cities would crave for.”

He went on to say that everyone involved was excited to be bringing the market back following the winter, and that people could expect the same mix of street foods, drinks and live music but with some improvements based on public feedback.

Banner printing from Chesterfield outlets is one of the options available to the organisers of town centre events like this, when they need to advertise.

Peddler Market will be returning for the first time in late March, followed by further events in May, July and September.
