Chesterfield to host Medieval Fun Day

The annual Medieval Fun Day event is set to be held in Chesterfield again later this year, with the council urging anyone who wants to run a stall there to book a place now.

This popular event is one of the highpoints of the summer for many of those who live in the town and includes a wide variety of entertainment activities for families. It also features an outdoor market with stalls offering everything from clothes to cakes, arts and crafts products, drinks and food. Now Chesterfield Borough Council has called on anyone who wishes to set up a stall to book a place early.

Speaking to Chesterfield News, Kate Sarvent from the council said that the Medieval Fun Day brings a lot of people into the centre of town, attracted by the chance to sample what life was like in the Middle Ages.

She then added:

“This is a great opportunity for retailers to trade on a market stall, particularly if you are new to Chesterfield or haven’t had a stall for a while, this will be a great introduction to what it is like on an event day in the town centre.”

Flyer printing outlets in Chesterfield can work to help stall holders to advertise what they are offering at an event such as this one.

The Medieval Fun Day takes place on Tuesday, July 25.
