Chesterfield to host international market
An international market will be taking place in the heart of Chesterfield within the next few weeks, making for the ideal autumn day out for families in the town.
This market will run for three days and will dominate the centre of the town during that period. It will feature a range of different stalls offering everything from street food to global craft items. Among the countries that will have their cuisine represented at the market are Ecuador, Lithuania, Morocco, France and Spain, so it is an event that no adventurous food lover will want to miss.
The main parts of the city centre where the stalls will be set up are Vicar Lane, Central Pavement and Low Pavement. The organisers are promising that the Chesterfield International Market will offer a truly special mix of delicious treats and cultural creativity.
Something that those putting together events in the town have to think about is how to promote them. One option is to get promotional pens created by Chesterfield print shops. These can feature the name of the event on them and be handed out to people locally.
Three different organisations have joined forces to bring this market to the town. They are Chesterfield Borough Council, Market Place Europe and Vicar Lane Shopping Centre.
The international market will be held from 31 October to 2 November. The general market will continue as normal.
