The fireworks display will take place at Stand Road Park, with entertainment throughout being provided by 1866 Sport, the official radio station for Chesterfield FC. The host for it will be Becky Measures, and a number of performers have already been confirmed, including the Disney Princesses, who will soundtrack the event with a host of popular songs.
The event is also set to have a theme this year, with ‘decades’ being the chosen topic. This means that each burst of fireworks will be accompanied by pop music from a particular decade, covering the 1960s up until the current era.
Kate Sarvent from the council told Chesterfield News that:
“It is fantastic to be working with Chesterfield Football Club and Becky Measures again to put on this popular family friendly event.”
