Chesterfield plans biggest Pride yet next year

The organisers of the annual Chesterfield Pride event have put out a video aimed at attendees, as part of their Plans to make next year’s event the biggest and best yet.

They were forced to cancel the 2020 festival due to the COVID-19 situation, so they have re-released a video that was originally shot two years ago and that asks those who take part exactly what it means to them.

This video features clips of Chesterfield Pride participants talking about the importance of the event to them. According to the Derby Telegraph, people reacted to the video positively on social media sites, with one viewer stating:

“Loved watching this. It’s great to see different people enjoying the day. Everyone can enjoy a Pride event how they want to enjoy it. Love is love.”

Already the organisers have confirmed the venue for the 2021 festival, with this set to be Stand Road Park and they are insisting that it will be bigger and better than ever before. Flyer printing can help with the promoting of local events such as this.

The fairground that is a popular part of Chesterfield Pride will be making a reappearance and it is hoped that the cabaret stage can be expanded. Furthermore, popular performer Natalie Browne has been booked once again.

Chesterfield Pride 2021 is due to take place on 18 July.
