Chesterfield logistics firm in contention for awards

A logistics company that is headquartered in Chesterfield has made it onto the shortlist for a major awards night for the industry, and has the chance to win prizes in two categories.

KranLee Logistics was only launched three years ago, but now finds itself in the running for two prizes at this year’s BIFA Freight Services Awards.

The company is on the shortlist in the ‘Extra Mile’ category, which rewards firms that demonstrate the highest standards of customer service and care, as well as innovation.

It is also shortlisted for the ‘Staff Development’ award for firms that offer cutting edge training for their employees.

This business was set up by Lee Wells and Karen Mosley, and is based at the Environment Centre on Markham Lane, Chesterfield. Speaking to Chesterfield News, Mosley stated that:
“To be shortlisted for the awards for us is a significant achievement. We are a small business, so to be recognised and share the spotlight with some of the largest businesses in our industry is huge.”

If the company goes on to win either of the awards, there are outlets in Chesterfield that could supply new printed Business Cards that reference their success.

The venue for the BIFA Freight Services Awards 2024 will be The Brewery in London. It will mark their 25th anniversary, and they are scheduled to take place on 18th January.
