Chesterfield could get special needs tower blocks

Two new tower blocks that would provide housing for people who have special needs could constructed at a Chesterfield site if the developer gets the necessary approval.

Dignus Healthcare, a company that specialises in creating housing for adults with special needs, is the developer behind this project. It wants to build two blocks on a section of land that is currently lying empty. Both of them would have three storeys and would be made up flats with a single bedroom.

The chosen site was formerly occupied by a sizeable family house. It is situated in Avenue Road and means the blocks would be constructed alongside a care home for which planning approval has already been agreed. Dignus submitted an earlier version of the plan that involved one block, but has now produced a revised and expanded proposal.

Brochure printing outlets in Chesterfield can help housing developers to show off their new properties for sale or rent through Brochures that are filled with colour pictures.

According to the Derby Telegraph, Dignus Healthcare has stated:

“We are committed to developing positive lifestyles for people with mental health issues or with learning disabilities so they can lead the fullest possible life within the community.”

The blocks would be t-shaped and have three flats per floor. A decision is expected to be made by mid-March.
