The Love Chesterfield Awards was created by Entire Facilities Management and Destination Chesterfield as a way of honouring the thriving business community within the town. Now, it is time for small firms to nominate themselves in one or more of the five categories that make up these awards ahead of the ceremony set to take place later in the year.
As well as businesses, community groups are also eligible for the awards, as long as they can show that they have meaningfully improved life for people living in the town. The ‘regeneration’ category has been opened up to non-businesses this year in the wake of the pandemic.
In addition to events like this to promote themselves, local firms are also supported by other businesses, like Chesterfield shops that provide Corporate Gifts for use in attracting and retaining clients.
Speaking to Chesterfield.co.uk, Destination Chesterfield Chair Peter Swallow stated that:
“The challenges of the last two years have made these awards all the more important and I hope members of the business community will put themselves or their apprentices forward for an award and get the recognition they so deserve.”
The awards night will take place on 12th October in the Winding Wheel Theatre.
