Beauty school to open in Chesterfield

A new school dedicated to training for beauty and make-up jobs will soon be opening in Chesterfield.

The duo behind this project are Lucy Chapman and Jane Manifredi, who have over 50 years’ worth of experience in the beauty industry between them. The pair have gone into partnership to set up the school. It is set to be called Pro MUA Beauty Training and the chosen site for it is Stephenson Place, at the heart of Chesterfield.

At the moment, the building that will house the school is undergoing a refurbishment ready for the grand opening. When people launch new business ventures, they sometimes turn to their local Print shops to assist with a range of services from Logo Design to poster printing to help them get up and running.

Chapman and Manifredi told the Derbyshire Times that they hope to be able to teach those who want to become beauticians all that they have learned from their years as professionals in this field, with Manifredi adding:

“The beauty and make-up industry is forever growing, and for learners gaining a VTCT industry recognised qualification guarantees that an exceptionally high standard of learning has been achieved.”

A precise date for the school to open has not yet been announced, but the work to prepare the building is ongoing.
