What's Happening in London - Camden, England…

Up-and-coming Australian band offers Camden date

The indie psychedelia-influenced rock group Ocean Alley is currently on tour and due to play Camden towards the end of September.

This outfit hails from Sydney, was formed in 2011 and has since attracted a solid fanbase. It consists of vocalist/guitar Baden Donegal, with guitarists Mitch Galbraith and Angus Goodwin, Lachlan Galbraith on keyboards, bassist Nic Blom as well as drummer Tom O'Brien.

They released their initial EP 'Yellow Mellow' in 2013, but it was the 2016 single 'The Comedown,' that broke through, becoming a hit in both New Zealand and Australia. This success was soon backed up by their first LP 'Lost Tropics' establishing a distinctive sound.

The band topped the annual Triple J Hottest 100 music poll in 2018 with the song 'Confidence'. It helped to bring them to international attention, and the next year they completed a European sell-out tour.

Ocean Alley has also played at festivals such as Vines and Splendour in the Grass. Their latest album 'Low Altitude Living' came out in 2022.

The support on this occasion is provided by Hockey Dad and CVC.

Standard tickets cost £32.50. Promotional pens can be a novel way of advertising a future concert or musical event.

Ocean Alley's gig has a starting time of 7.00 pm on Sunday 22nd September at The Roundhouse, Camden.
