What's Happening in London - Camden, England…

Indian group has Camden appearance on its schedule

The eclectic Indian band Peter Cat Recording Co is about to embark on a tour and is due to play a gig in Camden in mid-July.

The group formed in Delhi in 2010 and has continually evolved musically with each album release - from gypsy jazz through to easy listening. This has been equally matched by frequent line-up changes, which currently consists of lead singer Suryakant Sawhney, drummer Karan Singh, Dhruv Bhola on bass, Rohit Gupta on keyboard and Kartik Sundareshan on guitar.

The band has established a loyal following around the world thanks to their critically well-received albums - notably 2018's ‘Portrait of a Time' and 2019's 'Bismillah'. They have also delivered performances spanning several continents, which previously included packed houses on tours of North America, the UK and Europe.

Last year witnessed the release of their most recent LP 'BETA - A Painting of the Living and the Lived'. This further served to enhance the band's reputation as being both musically innovative and challenging preconceived ideas about what musicians from the Indian sub-continent are capable of achieving.

Tickets range in price from £35.00 to £45.00. Stationery printers can be a valuable resource for those engaged in the promotion of a concert or musical event.

Peter Cat Recording Co will be performing at 7.00 pm on Friday, 18 July at Roundhouse, Camden.
