Supernatural band prepares to rock Camden

The alt-rock band The Wytches is currently on tour and is due to play Camden this summer.

This Peterborough-based outfit met whilst music students in Brighton, getting together in 2011. To begin with, they played almost constantly, any gig that was on offer. Gradually, attracting interest and being finally snapped up by Heavenly Records, Partisan agreed to handle the US side of things.

The Wytches' first album 'Annabel Dream Reader' emerged in 2014, to reach the Top 50. It consists of 10 songs that combine 50s riffs, and garage rock whilst focusing on the introspective. With raw energy and ghostly themes, it introduced the band to a new prospective audience.

They subsequently toured worldwide as headliners and shared a stage with artists such as METZ, Blood Red Shoes and Pixies. Three other albums, along with numerous EPs followed. The band's fourth LP 'Our Guest Can't Be Named' came out in 2023 on the Alcopop! Records label.

It is now ten years since 'Annabel Dream Reader' appeared and to mark this, The Wytches will be performing the entire album, a rare retrospective moment.

Tickets cost £21.63 inclusive of transaction fees. The value of flyer printing shouldn't be underestimated when it comes to the promotion of a concert or musical event.

The Wytches gig has a starting time of 6.00 pm on Friday 23rd August at The Underworld, Camden.
