Leeds Rockers celebrate 40 years

A renowned rock band from Leeds will celebrate their 40th anniversary with three new shows.

Iconic rock group, The Sisters of Mercy has turned 40 this year and to honour the milestone has line up a trio of shows at London venue, the Roundhouse based in Camden Town. London-based music venue promoters will often use flyer printing services to create eye catching leaflets to hand out to members of the public and attract attendance at their shows.

Fans of the band looking to attend the upcoming anniversary gigs will like hear Sister of Mercy classics like “Temple of Love”, “Lucretia My Reflection”, “No Time to Cry” and “This Corrosion” and enjoy the spectacular lightshows, they insist were inspired by the Big Bang.

Formed in Leeds in 1980, the band achieved commercial success in the mid-80s a trend it kept way into the 90s before a dispute with the WEA record company halted their progress. The current line up consists of Andrew Eldritch on vocals, Ben Christo supplying guitar along with backing vocals, and Dylan Smith on 2nd guitar as well as the band’s drum machine known as Doktor Avalanche and its “full-time nurse” sound engineer Ravey Davey.

The Sisters of Mercy will now take to the stage at 7pm from September 10 to September 12 at The Roundhouse on Chalk Farm Road in Camden Town.
