Folk group to make Camden appearance
The American innovative acoustic pop-folk trio, Tiny Habits, are embarking on their 'Little Bit Farther' tour that includes a gig in Camden at the end of May.
Cinya Khan, Maya Rae and Judah Mayowa are all songwriting singers who got together in Boston USA at the start of 2022. They met as Berklee College students, recording cover versions in their dormitory to post online.
The initial focus was on harmonies in three parts, creating a distinctive sound that re-envisaged songs. Encouragement came from established musicians such as David Crosby, not to mention subsequently collaborating with Mark Ronson, amongst others.
Tiny Habit's first EP 'Tiny Things' came out in Spring 2022, quickly followed by two singles, namely 'Pennies (Voice Memo)' and 'Hemenway', which realised one million plus streams.
They have also been on tours with Gracie Abrams and Noah Khan, as well as performed sell-out shows in London.
The band began working with Tony Berg, the renowned producer, on their debut album, whilst their most recent single, 'Small Enough' appeared in the autumn of 2023.
'The New Yorker' has described them as 'The Prodigies of Harmonies'.
Tickets cost £24.25 inclusive of a transaction fee. Poster printing can be a valuable resource for those involved in the promotion of a concert or musical event.
Tiny Habit's gig has a starting time of 7.00pm on Thursday, 30 May at KOKO, Camden.
