Camden is to host roots-rock'n soul
The American musical duo Larkin Poe is currently on tour and due to play Camden towards the end of October.
The group consists of Nashville-based but Atlanta GA born singer/songwriter sisters Megan and Rebecca Lovell. Their multi-instrumentalist bluesy sound is combined with a distinctive style of storytelling. For many years they charted a solo path, self-producing records and touring minus a label
The duo eventually signed with RH Music who released their debut album 'Kim' was released in 2014. 'Venom & Faith', which came out in 2018 on the Tricki Woo label, was subsequently nominated for a Grammy in the 'Best Contemporary Blues Album' category.
These were followed up by 'Self-Made Man' and 'Kindred Spirits' in 2020 and 'Paint The Roses' in 2021. 'Blood Harmony' the latest in this series of albums was released only last year. The Telegraph has praised:
The duo will be supported on stage by bass guitarist Robby Handley, who also plays keyboards and delivers vocals, together with Marlon Patton on drums.
Ticket prices begin at £27.50 inclusive of aransaction fee. Print shops can be a useful resource for those engaged in preparations for a future concert or musical event.
Larkin Poe's gig has a starting time of 7.00 pm on Saturday 21st October at The Roundhouse, Camden.
