Saskatoon kids invited to explore process of paper making

The Saskatoon Zoo Society believes it's never too soon to develop a love and appreciation for nature, and local kids can get their hands dirty during a workshop that will be filled with creative and messy fun.

Hosted at the Affinity Learning Centre at Saskatoon’s Forestry Farm Park, the Young Naturalists' Paper Making Workshop is open to all. The organizers have requested that anyone who is interested register their child well ahead of time, as there are a limited number of spaces available.

Those registered for the event will be invited to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in, and while they do, they will be learning about the process of making paper. They will have the chance to make some paper of their own using recycled materials, and it can be used to wrap gifts, for scrap booking and more.

As the kids taking part will need to be accompanied by an adult, moms and dads are welcome. Flyer printing often proves to be a valuable promotional tool for this sort of function, and can include any graphics or text the customer desires.

This opportunity for budding nature lovers to learn and have fun will take place on December 6th. The registration fee for the general public is $2.00, and the Young Naturalists' Paper Making Workshop is scheduled to run from 1:00pm until 3:00pm.
