An upcoming event is planned that will give small business owners and entrepreneurs in Woodstock an opportunity to learn how to be more effective in promoting their enterprise.
During the evening, which will include a hot buffet dinner, there will be presentations by two guest speakers. Artala Promotions Inc.’s Susan Gros will discuss how a small business owner can get the most from their money and time as a vendor, while Cherl-Ann Lovie, who is the co-owner of Comfort Guy, will give tips on how people can improve, and even perfect their public speaking skills.
There will be ideas on how a company can best to design a booth to fit the environment of a particular trade show while still letting their own style shine through. Printing companies can be used effectively in this situation. There will also be tips on how to create traffic at a particular display and how to use this to generate sales and leads, how to speak to potential customers and clients, and even ideas about how to make the most of any opportunities that may arise for public speaking to promote a product or service.
The cost to attend the seminar is $20. It is being held on March 22 from 5:30 pm until 9:00 pm in the Burch Room at the Quality Hotel and Suites.
