The Woodstock Chamber of Commerce will once again be hosting an evening to celebrate local produce, drinks and food under the title ‘Forks and Corks’.
The event will feature live music and a bevy of samples from local growers, brewers and vintners. Food will be provided by Gunn Hill’s Artisan Cheese, JP’s Barbecue & Catering, The 1909 Culinary Academy and more. Drinks on tap will include the products of Black Fly Beverage Company, Burning Kiln Winery, and Early Bird Coffee. More exhibitors will be announced in the weeks leading up to the event.
Oxford County, in which Woodstock sits, is dotted with rural wineries, craft breweries, artisanal farms and roadside restaurants, which Forks and Corks aims to harness and pay tribute to. These restaurants advertise through events like these as well as through tools like flyer printing.
The Chamber of Commerce has established Forks and Corks as a networking event as much as a food one, so there will likely be some Business Cards changing hands along with hors d’oeuvres. Business owners are invited to bring clients and suppliers along with friends and families, looking to demonstrate the riches of the Woodstock area.
