Woodstock womens group to hold networking event

The Oxford Women in Networking group will be celebrating International Women’s Day this March with a forum designed to promote women’s businesses and mental health.

The Women’s Day forum will see presentations by three guest speakers: local businesswoman Marianne Schuts, therapist and Diversity Counselling owner Tami Murray, and Jenilee Halls, also a therapist and owner of Nourish Your True Self. The event will also include a sit-down dinner and wine, including a random “wine pull” to sample new flavours. The first 75 people to register will receive gift Bags, while there will also be door prizes available for early arrivals.

The event is themed around the 2024 International Women’s Day campaign theme “Inspire Inclusion.” The event listing explains:
“The aim of the IWD 2024 #InspireInclusion campaign is to collectively forge a more inclusive world for women. This in-person event is all about connecting and empowering women from diverse backgrounds. Come together with like-minded individuals to network, share experiences, and build lasting relationships.”

Business events and forums such as this are held around the world on International Women’s Day, with the goal of providing opportunities for professional women to trade stories and Business Cards. Such connections can lead to real business opportunities in the future.

The Oxford Women in Networking 2024 International Women’s Day Forum will take place at the South Gate Centre on March 6.
