The Woodstock Truck Show will return this May after a two-year absence, showcasing trucks of all kinds alongside live music for a good cause.
The main draw of the event will be “Show and Shine”, which will allow attendees to show off their custom or refurbished trucks. The winners will be chosen by the fans in attendance, with photos of the winning trucks included in a special calendar. There will also be a live concert accompanying the show, headlined by Canadian country-pop singer Eric Ethridge. Accompanying Ethridge will be Aaron Allen, Daniel Boujeard, and Brad James. The show was cancelled for public health reasons in 2020 and 2021, but is looking to make a strong return to Woodstock.
As with past editions, the Woodstock Truck Show will raise money for a good cause, with proceeds going to Special Olympics Ontario. The event stems from a long-running charity calendar released by Verbruggen, with the show starting in 2014 as a way to select trucks.
Over the years, the truck show has raised over $90,000 for causes such as Woodstock and District Developmental Services. Local events like these, often promoted through tools such as flyer printing and social media, help to draw attention to local charitable causes.
The 2022 edition of the Woodstock Truck Show will take place on Saturday, May 28 at the Woodstock Fairgrounds.
