Woodstock hosts annual festival this August

The Summer Streetfest is returning to Woodstock for four days this August.

The festival, which closes Dundas Street to traffic, is set to feature a wide variety of activities and events. This will include musical performances, street acts like Banjo Man and the Puppet Tamer, outdoor cafes, the Art in the Square show, a barbecue, and inflatables for the children. Museum Square will be hosting three different stages, one of which will feature a Blues showcase. Some of the performers confirmed for this year are Londole, Hurtin' Merv, and the Yeager Duo. The Dream State Circus' Fire Circus Extravaganza will also entertain the crowd.

Further, there are a couple of related events being held during the festival. This includes Woodstock Bikes and Blues on August 9th, and the Streetfest Cruise on August 10th from 9:00am - 3:00pm. Car owners can register their vehicles for free and can enjoy a DJ, a beef barbecue, and a 50/50 draw.

Organizers will likely be working with Woodstock Print companies to make sure everyone in the area knows about this popular upcoming event. This may include investing in Flyers that can be distributed throughout the area.

Summer Streetfest is being held on Dundas Street in downtown Woodstock from August 7th to 10th. Admission is free. To find out more about this popular event, contact Kelly Morrison at 519-537-5721.
